“We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose” Romans 8:28 (HCSB)
Trust me…Trust, is a word that has had its fair share of bad press these days. It seems that people today have a tough time dealing with issues of trust! So many people have been burned by trusting! We want to see to see the best in people so it always hurts when we get disappointed when someone lets us down.
In todays culture and society we see that many times our attitude and actions (because of trust issues) tend to say I’ve got to “look out for number one” or I am going to “get what I can while I can”. The unfortunate things about these attitudes are that they take trust out of our lives.
Have you ever trusted anyone who let you down? We all have! We have all been there. We all have met someone that has totally let us down. The question of the moment is, are you letting this disappointment keep you from a real relationship with Jesus. Realizing that it is hard to trust after suffering disappointment, but we have to trust. Why? Because God wants us to! We have to let go of the things we have no control over. We cannot allow ourselves to build anger in our hearts towards others. Anger and disappointment leads to a severing of your personal relationship with Christ
The cool thing is that we don’t have to keep a record of who is treating us wrong, God knows. His word teaches us that we are to treat people, the way we would like to be treated. His word also teaches us that we should not judge people. The same standard that we choose to judge people by, God is going to use to judge us! We simply need to trust God realizing He has our best interest at hand.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart…As you trust Him today, remember that He always will work all areas of your life out because your love Him! Seek His call on your life today. Put your trust totally in the Lord! I love you all <><
