I love the word faith!
It is a beautiful word that embodies deep belief. Faith requires action! Faith is something that one must work through. Faith is a way of life; it is a life change! Faith is when the believer knows that God has your best interest at heart.
The scripture teaches us that we are to ask God for our needs.
For a person who has faith, this is easy to understand because of the life changing experience. God reveals himself to people in many different ways. Faith happens at the moment of revelation. True faith changes you forever. I want you to understand that faith is a state of mind. Sometimes our faith can be super intense, at times not so great. Unfortunately our faith changes depending on the circumstances that are happening at the moment in real time.
We can take comfort today realizing that God does not change. In our humanity, we are sometimes so overwhelmed that we allow doubt to creep in. Satan loves to create doubt and to take us to dark places in our mind. He wants us off of our A game. We must remember that Satan is the author of confusion who does not want anything good for you. For this reason is why the person of faith must approach the throne of grace with confidence…confidence trumps doubt every time!
When someone asks God in faith, they believe that what they are asking for is going to happen. They believe in faith in the one that they are asking. In this verse, we read that the person who doubts is like the surf of the sea that is driven aimlessly in many directions by the wind.
Don’t wonder aimlessly today, ask God for your needs in faith!
