I love this beautiful old song. It is a reminder to me each day to consider the simplicity of my relationship with Jesus. I can go back to the time when my life was radically changed because of my faith. This event brings peace and comfort to me when my soul is troubled. All I have to do is trust in Him.
Have you ever been excited and overwhelmed at the same time? This is the state that I am currently in. There is so much is going on in the community in which I live as well as the planet that we all call home. To quote Steve Miller “…time keeps on slippin…in to the future.” And it is slipping at a fairly quick clip.
We are praying for…
Nicole Callias (Complete Healing)
Jordan Callias (Strength for the journey ahead)
Chloe and Gadsden (that they will handle this process well)
Harry and Kristin Hatcher (That God allows them to enjoy many more days with little Truett)
Truett Hatcher (That God protects him and keeps him safe)
We pick up this morning continuing our thoughts from yesterday. Couples need to pray together. This is an important yet sometime difficult task. Satan likes to keep us busy, he wants us to busy to pray. I am asking you this morning to make prayer for your spouse a priority.
I am writing to the membership and friends of the POINT this morning with a major prayer request for our church. If possible, I am asking that each of you share this post with all of your praying friends. I am believing that God is going to do something great in this unique challenge that we are facing as a church plant.
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
Is kindness is short supply? Lately I have been amazed at the way people treat one another. From the ongoing political melee that drones incessantly on our televisions to the way that people conduct them selves in traffic. What has happened to compassion?
